Mohamed Hagras

Mohamed Hagras has been working at UN-Habitat since 2022, contributing to the development and management of urban planning and regeneration projects. He holds degrees in Architecture, Urban Design and Community Development, and Urban Planning and Management. Before joining UN-Habitat, Hagras collaborated with local and international organizations since 2010, on urban planning and development projects, across the MENA region, Africa, Europe, and Asia. His work is centered on urban and socio-economic regeneration, with a focus on public participation to promote sustainable urban development. Hagras was also teaching urban studies at different universities and is actively participating in academic and professional projects.
